Still Heart Hollow started with a passion to share the freedom I have found through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Freedom from finding my identity in the world to finding my freedom to who Christ says I am and whose I am.

As I immersed myself in His Word and surrounded myself with a community of believers who supported and encouraged me in my faith, the Holy Spirit renewed and transformed my thoughts, behaviors and attitudes and continues to each day. Gradually and continually I came to understand I am loved and accepted for who I am and who God made me to be. My eyes became wide open as I read the Bible cover to cover each year discovering the best love story ever written.

Reading His Word came full circle for me as I experienced the beauty and love of our Heavenly Father revealed in the pages, the deep need for a Savior leading to our ultimate redemption and freedom through the work of Jesus Christ and finally the fulfillment of all Covenants in Revelation.

From these experiences the Still Heart Journal was created. As each person reads the Bible, encounters God’s heart, discovers who He is and His will for your life, the Still Heart Journal is a place designed to hone your thoughts and record your own personal experience growing closer to God.

Originally from Ohio, Chrissy went to college in California, met her husband Rod, and has since worked in careers ranging from investment manager, entrepreneur, wellness and pilates instructor, and writing coach. 

Following a 12-year career as an Investment Broker, Chrissy left the investment world for the world of motherhood. Her love of fitness was fully reignited with her participation in many fitness events while raising her family. After incurring a back injury in 2000 she started practicing Pilates. Her love of Pilates and the full body benefits she felt led her to expand upon her training certification with the Comprehensive Teacher Training Program she completed in Pilates through BASI- Body Arts and Sciences International. 

Moving to Franklin, Tennessee, Still Heart Hollow came full circle taking her past experiences and passions to a place of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, God’s love for us, and the importance of nourishing our body and soul.
